i am most likely going to get starscream beacuse he is cheaper

I would have to say Blitzwing. Starscream has got some weird proportions. Though they're both really great.

in terms of robot mode who do you think looks better?

Comment by Soundwave on February 17, 2012 at 11:13am

That's really tough to say. Starscream is great because you can get his clones, Skywarp and Sunstorm, and I love the automorph used in his transformation. However, the toy is top-heavy in robot mode and that limits poseability, and although I like the automorph, it makes the transformation really simple. Blitzwing looks great in robot mode, and has the spinning head gimmick. However, his two vehicle modes don't look too good.

in my opinion the soundwave and bumblebee are the best

Yeah, I'm excited for those, too. But the Optimus and Cliffjumper figures seem to be a far cry from their initial release.

Robots in Disguise* (sorry, posting from a tablet) On that note, Stu, if you're reading this, I would gladly cover the price of the toys and shipping if you would be willing to middleman the entire First Edition line to me!

Yes, but upon further research I've found that you are partially correct. The Transformers Prime toys were originally planned to be part of the Generations line, but due to the popularity of the show, it was given its own limited run (First Edition). This consisted of Arcee, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, starscream, Bulkhead, and Voyager-sized Optimus Prime. These First Editions were sold in late 2011 and only at select retailers. From now on, outside of Japan, a new batch of Prime toys, featuring new (and arguably worse) molds will be released to mass retail under the Robots in Diguise line.On that
